CANVEY ISLAND 0
CRAY WANDERERS opened the season with victory against Canvey Island at Flamingo Park. Cray had the edge after a close opening with Findlay Dorrell having a half-chance for Canvey and Josh Williams and Ashley Nzala close for the Wands.
Cray took the lead on 25 minutes when when from a free-kick Josh Williams ball into the box was flicked towards goal by Tom Bonner and Chris Dickson, who re-signed for club this week, netted from close range.
Canvey had a good spell and Elliott Ronto saw a shot held, Findlay Dorrell’s cross was headed ...
