■ NORTH FERRIBY held their north-eastern opponents, despite being hampered by a red card.
The Villagers battled hard and came close to taking the lead on two separate occasions in the first half. Both saw a solid delivery from Jason St Juste at the corner post, finding Niall Tilsley.
When Luke Hogg washanded a straight red card it was more of a battle to survive for the hosts. The tie swung toward the visitors but Ferriby held firm to deny their opponents and some fantastic goalkeeping from Ben Bottomley ensured the point.
