■ A HARD-FOUGHT and thrilling game saw these two teams play out a goalless draw.
Congleton had a great chance after seven minutes when Dan Needham had a shot from just outside the area, however, his effort flew over the crossbar.
Bury’s best chance, probably the best for either side, came after 12 minutes when Kai Evans turned his man inside out before lining a shot up from 25 yards out. It rattled the crossbar and came back into play.
This game was very much end-to-end, with both sides having several chances to score.
