BARDS ACT FAST TO GET EQUALISER

HALESOWEN Town opened brightly and took a seventh-minute lead when Jason Cowley turned home after Kyle Finn’s shot was saved.
But the Bards levelled when Henry Landers’ 17th minute shot rebounded off the post and Dan Lafferty tapped home the rebound.
Cowley’s 37th minute shot was saved by Stratford goalkeeper Jake Weaver’s legs and Ben Cassidy’s 45th minute low shot skidded just wide in a good Halesowen move.
