BELPER TOWN made it through to the next round with a narrow victory over Newcastle Town.
The scoreline may sound close, but in truth the Nailers should have wrapped the tie up long before the end.
New signing Jacob Fenton made a lively debut and put the home side in front with a close-range finish after 38 minutes.
Newcastle stunned the Nailers with a well-taken equaliser just before the half-time whistle, as Joel Jones’s crisp half-volley fizzed into the back of the net.
