■ MALDON & Tiptree fell at the first hurdle of the Trophy thanks to a late Timothy Okwusogu goal.
In a first half that was low on quality and chances, Maldon had strong shouts for a defensive mix-up allowed Ok- with 20 minutes to go when a
penalty turned down after a wusogu to nip and score the tackle on Louis Dunne. only goal. Dunstable nearly took the Maldon finished strongly lead just before half-time, but the shot was dragged wide of and only a late goalline clearance to block a Matt Yates the far post.
