■THIS was definitely a game of two halves as a goalless first half saw visitors Leverstock Green having a slight edge but with goalmouth chances at a premium.
Leverstock’s Iker Leon’s early chance was fumbled round a post by Ben Self.
Sam Aldous went close for Lowestoft, as did Juan Velasco for the visitors in a generally low key first half. The second half saw Lowestoft up the tempo and had effectively won the tie inside the first hour. Lowestoft took the lead in the 53rd minute with a goal-of-the-season
