■KINGSTONIAN booked their place into the next round of the FA Trophy with this hard-fought game in which both goalkeepers showed their brilliance to keep the goals out.
Merstham had the better of chances in an end-to-end first half, but goalkeepers Rob Tolfrey and Liam Allen produced a string of fine saves each to keep the game tense and tight until the half-time whistle. The home side scored the only goal when Tade Ibrahim’s effort bounced back off the bar and dropped perfectly to Sean O’Brien, who nodded into the net past the stranded Tolfrey.
