SITTINGBOURNE, surprise quarter-finalists in last year’s FA Trophy, cruised into Monday’s draw with a breathtaking display on the Sussex Downs.
Newly promoted Crowborough, playing their first Trophy tie since the mid-2000s, had no answer to a rampant Brickies side who stormed two goals clear inside ten minutes. Jack Steventon opened the scoring before debutant Derek Asamoah doubled the lead, punishing hesitant defending.
