HEMEL Hempstead Town edged out Chippenham Town with a narrow victory at Hardenhuish Park, thanks to a second-half header from Millar Matthews-Lewis.
In a tightly contested match, both sides cancelled each other out for large periods, particularly in the first half. It was a cagey, end-to-end affair but with few clear-cut chances. Neither goalkeeper was seriously tested before the break, as both teams struggled to carve out openings in the final third.
