A sting in tail denies the Urchins

HORNCHURCH extended their unbeaten start to the league season with a point against battling Horsham.
Shamir Fenelon had the first chance for the visitors, shooting straight at Arthur Nasta. At the other end, a long Harry Gibbs throw was headed on by Angelo Balanta and the ball hit Henry Hearn from close range before Lewis Carey gathered.
Hornets skipper James Hammond clipped the ball into the path of Greg Luer, whose attempted lob landed on the roof of the net. Reece Myles-Meekums’ drive was charged down by Makai Welch.
