■ STOCKTON secured comfortable passage with victory over Lower Breck.
It looked a challenging tie on paper against the NPL West leaders, who had beaten Pontefract Collieries and Stalybridge Celtic en route to the Third Qualifying Round. Stockton opened the scoring after twenty minutes
when Michael Sweet nodded in from Kev Hayes’ cross.
In the second half, Nathan Harker made an important save from Lewis Buckley and Sam Burns to prevent a
Lower Breck equaliser.
