The death of Billy Vigar is a tragedy which has shocked football to its core and I send my condolences to his family.
That a 21-year-old has left home to play football on Saturday and has suffered an injury that has ended their life just doesn’t bear thinking about, and has thrown open the question of player welfare. Essentially, that is the key point.
