■ CHAY Tilt bagged the only goal as Sporting Khalsa claimed an away win.
The first half saw Joe Woolley fire straight at Ravan Constable, then Tilt had a shot saved by Tony Thompson.
A ball in from out wide fell to Bootle’s new signing Will Russ to head just over the bar, and a minutes after that, Khalsa took the lead with Tilt’s strike from just outside the area.
Andre Landell looked to double the lead but his shot only fell in to the hands of Thompson, who was forced to make a fantastic save to deny Bradley Burgess.
