A QUICK one-two in the first half propelled Heaton Stannington to a smart win over strugglers Bishop Auckland.
The opening exchanges showed some early dominance from the hosting Stan, as both Connor Walker and Leighton Hopper came close, firing off target.
The first goal arrived on the half hour. A free-kick was floated in for Dale Pearson to head his side in front.
