■ A GOAL in each half from Frankie Sinfield earned Pontefract Collieries victory over Blyth Spartans, making it back-to-back wins for Jimmy Williams’ side.
Pontefract dominated large spells of possession in the first half but struggled to seriously test the keeper. Against the run of play, Blyth led when Euan Potts latched onto a short back pass and slotted home.
The hosts hit back before the break as Joe Lumsden and Niah Payne combined neatly on the right, with Payne’s cross finding Sinfield, who headed in at the back post.
