THREE first half goals saw Halesowen Town seal a comfortable victory over Banbury.
Luke Stokoe sent a free-kick wide for the hosts in the ninth minute, but it was Halesowin who struck a minute later. Jak Hickman’s corner went to the edge of the box and with the ball fed back into the penalty area Alex Gudger fired the Yeltz ahead from six yards.
The lively Fin Holmes then saw his effort blocked by Yaw Ofosu with the visitors looking for a quick second.
