■ ATHERTON Collieries continued their fine form with a sixth win in eight games after a lively victory over Congleton. The hosts struck inside 45 seconds as captain Joe soon after, capping a frantic Piggott converted after Cole opening 20 minutes. Hyde flicked on Ben Rydel’s long ball. Sonny Reeves impressed The Bears quickly levelled as Colls pressed without reward. Niall Battersby finally through Max McCarthy’s penalty, but Sam Sheridan put them ahead with an acrobatic strike, and Piggott restored Colls’ lead with his second free kick...
