■ EAST Grinstead remain rooted to the bottom of the table as they were thrashed at home by Ashford United.
Gary Lockyer gave the visitors the lead after 16 minutes when he headed home Louis Collins’ cross. Noah Carney got the visitors’ second of the afternoon just six minutes before the break to put them in a commanding position.
After the break, Jefferson Aibangbee got the visitors’ third after 54 minutes, placing the ball beyond Damien Niemczycki. Lockyer grabbed his second just before the hour mark to make it 4-0.
