Louis Jenkins fired the Jockeys in front going into the break, only for Jamal Obeng to level 18 minutes from time.
Newmarket were reduced to 10 men 17 minutes into the second period after Jake Eady was sent-off for picking up a second yellow card.
The sixth-placed Jockeys, buoyed by their 4-0 midweek win at Downham Town, got their noses in front when William Gardner’s free-kick was converted by Jenkins.
