Nicky Featherstone clinched his first victory in interim charge of Hartlepool United as managerless Pools saw off Solihull Moors to end their long home drought.
Leading scorer Vadaine Oliver’s impudent first-half finish and Matty Daly’s goal at the death fired Pools to their first win at the Prestige Group Stadium in seven attempts.
It was no classic against a Moors side who were frustrated to leave the north-east pointless, given a dominant second-half performance.
