A FIRST-HALF Alex Curran goal was enough for Curzon Ashton to see off bottom of the league Peterborough Sports.
In a first half where wind was proving challenging at times, Alex Curran tapped in at the near post after a scramble in the box resulted in the ball falling at his feet.
Peterborough grew into the game with Max Booth and Dan Jarvis firing over after Curzon almost doubled their lead, when Ben Darby had a shot cleared off the line by Sam Straughan-Brown.
