A DOUBLE by Benas Vaivada was enough to help advance Brentwood into the second round proper over Welling.
The Blues began strongly and came marginally close into taking an early lead as Charlee Hughes had dispossessed the Wings’ backline and chipped Kai Mckenzie-Lyle from 35 yards out, but his effort struck the far post.
Just 11 minutes in, Brentwood hot-shot Danny Ogunleye netted his eighth goal of the campaign as he capitalised off the footwork of Mckenzie-Lyle and laid a pass onto Hughes at byline, before firing his effor...
