IN THIS first meeting between the two sides, Leek Town emerged victorious, easing to victory thanks to two goals by the dangerous Alex Hurst and one from Ollie Shenton.
A goalless first half was not for a lack of chances created with the majority falling to the home side who looked the more likely to break the deadlock.
Bromsgrove goalkeeper Adam Harrison twice showed strong hands to push away an Adam Porter volley and then a cross-shot from Tom Curl, while Liam Buckley hit the outside of the post.
