AN exhilarating first half at McMullen Park saw Real Bedford edge out Ashford United in a pulsating FA Trophy clash that had all five goals inside the opening 27 minutes.
Ashford made the brighter start and deservedly went ahead after just nine minutes, Jefferson Labibile capitalising on some early defensive uncertainty from the hosts.
But their advantage was short-lived. Real Bedford hit back on 17 minutes when Conor Tee finished off a swift counterattack, showing blistering pace before drilling low into the corner to level the scores. ...
