■WYTHENSHAWE Town ended their wait for a first home win of the campaign and landed a blow on fellow strugglers Witton Albion in the bargain.
Chris Willcock’s side, who had failed to score in three of their six league games at Ericstan Park before this one, edged in front midway through the first half when a free-kick by Dylan Woods crept inside the near post.
The visitors from Northwich hauled themselves level after 26 minutes when midfielder Alfie Bairstow, on loan from Salford, finished neatly.
