STRUGGLING Stamford stunned Stourbridge to secure a sensational first league victory of the season – despite being reduced to ten men for most of the game.
Stourbridge did everything but score during a dominant first-half display but couldn’t breakdown a well drilled Stamford defence.
Aaron Bishop and Dom Lewis hit the woodwork before Stamford had Elliott Durrell sent off in the 24th minute after lashing out at Oliver Shaw.
That didn’t stop Stamford taking the lead on 31 minutes thanks to a fabulous goal from Joao Varel...
