NASH QUITS STAR

NEWCASTLE Blue Star are looking for a new management team following the resignation of boss Marc Nash.
He quit the Northern League Division One club, along with his staff, after a 5-2 defeat at Birtley Town.
Nash and his assistant Anthony Woodhouse had 23 months at the helm with Graeme Scott as club medic. During their first year in charge the club were promoted from Division Two, only to lose the play-off final on penalties in their second season.
They also achieved a historic FA Cup run and helped Jack Daley move to Middlesbrough on a professional contract.
