■ WARE were looking to get back to winning ways, and the return of two of their long-term injured suggested they could well do it against Aylesbury.
In an entertaining first half however both sides cancelled each other out in alternating periods of ascendancy. Defences struggled at times but it remained relatively even and neither side came close to scoring.
