Dean Grant headed a late winner as Whitstable Town opened their FA Vase defence with an unconvincing win over Sussex side Infinity.
For long periods it looked as though Joe Healy’s first half tap-in might prove sufficient, but when Tommy Tierney equalised for Infinity from the penalty spot with 20 minutes left, Whitstable had to dig deep.
