LEEK TOWN’S excellent start under new manager Josh Brehaut continued with victory over a disappointing Whitby Town side.
The home side had the better of the first half on the Yorkshire Coast.
However, they missed a string of decent opportunities before Callum Leigh smashed in a beautiful goal from distance for the visitors from Staffordshire, against the run of play, 11 minutes before half-time.
Adam Gell fired across the face of goal, for Whitby, inside four minutes.
