■ EVAN GARNETT’S second-half header rescued a deserved point for travelling Long Eaton.
The Blues had a host of first-half chances, but found themselves behind just after the break when the ball fell to Jamal Adams to fire in.
The lively James Taylor – who had gone close from distance twice – wasted more chances after the break with Charlie Woods pulling off a spectacular save to deny him. But after 73 minutes the visitors got the goal their performance merited with Garnett heading powerfully into the bottom-left corner.
