EXMOUTH Town ended their five-game wait for a win with a hard-fought victory against Didcot Town, in an even affair that could have gone both ways.
The hosts would open the scoring after Ben Steer recovered quickly from a fall, to slip Ethan Slater in on goal, and the midfielder coolly slotted past Leigh Bedwell.
Didcot’s biggest threat came on the counter-attack, and that is where they found their equaliser.
