■ BIGGLESWADE’s decision to wear their grey strip did little to lift the atmosphere on a drab and wet afternoon.
Wade threatened from corners early on, but only managed to strike the woodwork while Gabriel Chapps and Josip Jevdic both hit the netting for Ware.
The second half came to life when two Ware defenders slipped on the surface, the ball running between them for Joshua Steele to capitalise and give the Waders the lead.
Josh Okotcha’s equalised calmly through a ruck of players, giving Ware renewed belief.
