Gulls reach top after Wilson’s stylish bow

TORQUAY UNITED went top of the National League South thanks to two great strikes against a Chelmsford City side who continued to struggle in front of goal.
The Clarets started brightly again, but once again were unable to turn possession into goals. Both City centre-backs Ben Tompkins and David Longe-King headed into the arms of James Hamon and Lyle Taylor fired a free-kick over.
