CHERTSEY ended November with a victory as a single strike from Daniel Berry just after the half-time break decided this. On an afternoon where both sides battled virtually every weather condition apart from snow, it was the hosts who got on the front foot with Gary Abisogun making inroads from midfield. His work-rate almost created the opener after five minutes when his corner caused havoc in the area before Carlo Garside cleared.
