HASTINGS pushed themselves into mid-table with a comfortable win at Erith Town.
After a scrappy opening half an hour, the visitors took the lead just five minutes before the break when a corner was only cleared to the edge of the area, where a lurking James Stone reacted quickest and fired a shot into the net.
Walter Figueira had only been on the pitch for five minutes when he then made it 2-0 in the 65th minute, as he calmly slotted home after some excellent build-up play.
