■ THREE BRIDGES maintained their three-point lead at the top of the Isthmian South East following a big win away at Eastbourne Town.
It was the visitors who started the brighter at The Saffrons, and they took the lead midway through the first half. Charlie Bennett stepped up to send the keeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.
Noel Leighton was then the provider as his cross picked out Reece Hallard who applied the finish to give Bridges a 2-0 lead at the break.
Leighton then scored himself, as he was played through by Bennett before powering home.
