■A LATE flurry ensured 1874 Northwich made up ground on the play-off places with a 5-1demolition of struggling Highgate United.
Kyle Worsley fired the home side ahead from the penalty spot early on after Liam Fitzpatrick had been clipped in the box and it was 2-0 after 33 minutes when Rob Hopley notched from close range. Josh Newbold gave Gate a lifeline by reacting first to Jack Ward’s cross before half-time but the game was up when Dennis Mulville got his first goal since joining the hosts 13 minutes from time.
