Jakub Pietrzak says he is trying to build on the foundations laid by Billy Rowley at Walton & Hersham after getting off to the perfect start.
The 27-year-old led the Step 3 Swans to a thumping 4-1 win over Sutton United in the Isuzu FA Trophy, just days after being handed the reins. His reward is a home tie against another National League team, Brackley Town, on January 10, and Pietrzak, who worked under former boss Rowley before his departure to Yeovil last month, drank in every moment of his big day.
