HAYWARD’S HEAT JUST TOO MUCH

WORCESTER City closed to within touching distance of the play-off places after sweeping aside Worcestershire rivals Redditch in emphatic fashion.
Midfielder Nathan Hayward was the star turn with a goal in each half with Dan Sweeney and Charlie Lutz also on target.
City should have scored inside the opening ten minutes but a Lutz shot was tipped over the bar by Tyrese Warmington who then did well to claw away Paul Downing’s header.
