DARNELL DENIES BUXTON A DRAW

A DRAMATIC stoppage-time header from Darnell Johnson saw Oxford to an important win again Buxton, who thought they had earned a late point through a George Ward header.
City started brightly and had the first clear chance when a cross found Josh Parker but the striker was unable to get a good contact on the ball to guide it home, while Joe Young saved a low Josh Ashby free-kick.
But just before the half-hour, a superb ball over the top saw Ewan Clark power away from his man and clip over Young to give his side the lead.
