■ BRANTHAM ATHLETIC  picked up just their third point of the season as they held Takeley to a hard-fought draw. In a scrappy contest, both sides showed plenty of endeavour but struggled to find the quality needed in the final third in a well-fought but disappointing first half.
Chances were created at either end, often from set pieces or hopeful deliveries, yet clear-cut openings were at a premium.
