■ CROYDON Athletic had been shocked last week, and their desire to get back on track showed in a nervous first half.
Hastings were on the front foot in the first half and got their reward when Damien Theodore took advantage of indecision at the back.
Croydon tried to get back on level terms, but went into the break a goal behind. The second half was very different.
