■ DESPITE propping up the Isthmian League’s South Central Division, Fareham Town pushed Hayes & Yeading right to the brink in this seven-goal clash.
While Brendan Matthew opened the scoring for the hosts, Fareham replied with something of an unexpected triple threat.
A Charlie Cooper effort in the 23rd minute, and a quick-fire brace from Dan Sibley saw the visitors lead 3-1 early in the second half.
