JACK Duffy’s second-half strike secured bottom club Stamford a precious win in their battle to beat the drop.
The Daniels’ captain – back from a 20-match suspension following a clash with a fan at Royston last season – raced clear shortly after the break to slot in the decisive goal and condemn City to a damaging third straight home defeat at Sixways.
Stamford’s fourth win of the season provides the Lincolnshire side with a lifeline in their fight for survival.
