A POOR first half produced little quality and few chances for either side.
Bridges showed their class early, with Hayden Velvik creating a chance for Noel Leighton and Rivera, but hesitation between the two meant the opportunity was missed.
VCD’s best openings fell to Ezra Ikebuasi, who was unable to convert either chance.
The second half remained scrappy, but brought more excitement. Bridges were awarded an early penalty, and Charlie Bennett converted.
