DOVER ATHLETIC delivered a blow to Hemel Hempstead Town’s promotion hopes.
The Whites took the lead in the tenth minute as George Nikaj beat his marker before curling a lovely strike into the top-right corner past a helpless Michael Johnson.
After this, Hemel were left chasing. In the 20th minute, Matthew Achuba powered a volley on target, yet could only watch on as Luca Cocoracchio ducked down to head off the line. Four minutes later, Oliver Davies forced a smart save from goalkeeper Mitch Walker.
