GAVIN Cowan reckons that whoever inherits his job at Brackley will be the luckiest manager in the world.
The 44-year-old was poached by League Two side Shrewsbury a fortnight ago after three years of unprecedented success at St James Park.
Cowan ended seven successive seasons of play-off heartbreak to win the National North title last term.
He then defied pre-season relegation odds to guide the Saints into mid-table, despite being one of only two part-time sides in the National League.
