REIGNING champions The New Saints moved 10 points clear at the top of the JD Cymru Premier as they took full advantage of closest rivals Connah’s Quay Nomads dropping points at home with a 6-0 thrashing of Penybont at Park Hall.
Two goals in four first-half minutes put the league leaders in control. Jordan Williams, the league’s top scorer, grabbed the first in the 22nd minute and then Rory Holden added a second four minutes later.
